THE FELLOWS COMPANY: Executive Chef

The Fellows Company is a small, independently owned hospitality group based in Roswell, Georgia, founded by Christina and Tony. Our restaurants are rooted in thoughtful food, strong community, and a deep respect for seasonality and craftsmanship.

Under the Fellows Company umbrella are two concepts located on Green Street:

Fellows Cafe, a destination breakfast and brunch cafe inspired by the global travels of its owners. Bringing a little bit of everywhere to here, the cafe serves coffee, breakfast, brunch, lunch, and cocktails. Just next door, From The Well centers around naturally leavened bread, specialty coffee, thoughtful provisions, and seasonal food. The space reflects a slower and more intentional approach to hospitality, highlighting craft, ingredients, and connection to place.

Together, these kitchens share a belief in produce-driven cooking and creating food that feels both thoughtful and approachable.

We are looking for a full-time Executive Chef to lead the culinary program across both kitchens, Fellows and From the Well .

This chef will oversee the teams at Fellows Cafe and From The Well, working closely with ownership and management to guide menu development, kitchen operations, and team culture.

Our ideal candidate is kind, collaborative, and hands-on. This role is not for someone looking to overhaul what exists, but for a chef who values the seven years of work that have gone into building these concepts and is excited to come alongside the team to lead and refine the program moving forward.

We believe the best kitchens are built through mentorship, respect, and shared ownership of the work. The Executive Chef should enjoy coaching others, developing talent, and working alongside the team in the day-to-day rhythm of service.

In this role, the Executive Chef will be responsible for:

  • Menu development and seasonal specials across both concepts

  • Food cost optimization and kitchen financial performance

  • Ordering, purchasing, and inventory management

  • Leading and mentoring two kitchen teams through hands-on coaching

  • Creating beautiful, produce-driven food rooted in seasonality

  • Building strong relationships with farmers, purveyors, and local producers

  • Maintaining Georgia Department of Health compliance at all times

  • Cultivating a positive, respectful, and accountable kitchen culture

  • Contributing creative ideas to the continued growth of the company

Compensation: Salary, $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 based on experience

Benefits & Perks: Health Insurance Contribution, Paid Time Off, Potential Bonuses, Dining Discounts

If you have a strong work ethic and a deep commitment to hospitality, leadership, and seasonal cooking, we would love to meet you.
